CLUB HISTORY:

Glendale Flying Club was formed in July 1961 as a Kentucky nonprofit corporation.

Glendale has always been based at Bowman Field in Louisville, Kentucky, at one time the busiest airport in the country.

At the height of the post-WWII pilot boom in America, Glendale had 250 members and 15 airplanes (including multiple twins).

Glendale has owned highly sought-after complex airplanes, including a Beach V-35, two Cessna 210s and currently a Piper Saratoga.
