COSTS:

Glendale Flying Club is absolutely your best value for the flying dollar in the Louisville, Kentucky area.  A one-time, non-refundable initiation fee of $500 is required for entry into the Club [NOTE: The initiation fee is lowered to $300 during the current membership drive ending May 31, 2011].  Each member pays a monthly fee of $200 of which $125 counts toward flight time.  Glendale Flying Club will reimburse Club Members the full cost of any oil or pre-heats paid by Members.  The hourly usage rates are set to cover the operating and maintenance costs of each aircraft.  Members pay for their own fuel.  Current hourly dry rates for the aircraft are:
