AIRCRAFT:

Glendale Flying Club currently owns a four-place Piper Warrior II PA-28-161; a four-place, constant-speed propeller Diamond Star DA40-180; a four-place, constant-speed propeller Cessna Skylane C-182Q; and a six-place, constant-speed propeller, retractable-gear Piper Saratoga II HP PA-32R-301.

All aircraft are owned and maintained for the exclusive use of Glendale Members. 

All aircraft are IFR certified and equipped with panel mount Garmin GNS 530 and/or GNS 430 GPS/COM/NAV radios.  The Garmin GNS 530s and 430s have IFR approached-approved GPS receivers with color moving maps, and the GNS 530s and 430s in our Diamond Star and Piper Saratoga have been upgraded to WAAS-capable units allowing for precision GPS approaches.

Warrior N2866W has one Garmin GNS 430 GPS/COM/NAV radio, one King COM/NAV radio, dual glideslopes, marker beacons, a Mode C transponder, a single-axis autopilot and a two-place intercom.

Skylane N7562S has one Garmin GNS 430 GPS/COM/NAV radio, one digital King COM/NAV radio, dual glideslopes, marker beacons, a Mode C transponder, an S-Tec System 50 two-axis autopilot, an ADF, a four-place intercom and an Insight Strike Finder for storm avoidance.

Diamond Star N16NA (2003 model) was purchased on July 7, 2006.  The Star's information can be found here.

All aircraft are equipped with Tanis electric pre-heaters.
